Pray for John

A Christian civilian firefighter who works with our good friend on a military base is being dismissed. This guy had his yearly physical, and the doctor on the base said he was not fit for duty, that his pulmonary arteries were clogged and not getting enough oxygen. Another base doctor concurred with this diagnosis (Regular MDs). So John went to three pulmonary specialists, and all of them said he was absolutely fine and fit for duty. The Fire Chief, however will not take the diagnosis of the three specialists, but instead takes the diagnosis of the MDs on base. The Fire Chief hates him, and that’s the big problem here. They are forcing him out of his job and may not even give him disability pay. He may get nothing more than a handshake as he’s escorted to the front gate. This poor guy is only one year and three months from retirement. He is a Christian, thankfully. However, John’s not trusting God much, but instead he’s really stressing and has lost a lot of weight. Praying for peace, comfort, guidance, God’s Will and for God to be glorified through it all.

Thank you for your prayers! My Uncle is out of surgery and doing well. The next 24 hours will be critical, so I thank you again for continued prayers. I am glad to be able to report to his unbelieving sons that you also have been praying for him.

She has diabetes and was bit by a spider or something a few months ago on her foot.  The wound has not healed and has continued to get infected.  They told her this morning they want to operate on her foot tomorrow sometime.  Please pray for peace for her.  She is a believer but is extremely afraid of being put under for the operation. Pray for healing of course.

update 4/3/13:
Please pray for Rick’s Relative who had surgery last month on her foot. She has diabetes and the deep wound from the surgery on her foot needs to heal in order for her to begin walking again and so that more serious measures don’t have to be taken. Please pray for a quick healing of foot and for peace.

My Uncle Butch has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is running a fever and it needs to be under control before they can do surgery. Praying for good results and time to be with family and friends. Uncle Butch knows the Lord, Praise be to God!

Pray for Chad

Today (June 21, 2012) at 12:00 noon Chad will have his first ever, I believe, surgery like this –a
boating accident (wave jumping) and broke his tibia and knee cap (patella). He is
not saved, 43 years old. Stacey, my daughter and Chad’s wife, is working and his
dad, Darryl, is taking him to the Lawrence Kansas hospital. I believe God is
working in their lives in Lawrence, Kansas thru this accident and other things.
Stacey and Chad have been together 27 years and have a 6 year old daughter, Kennedy.
Please pray that God will put His children in Lawrence, Kansas in his path and in
his family’s path to intervene during this difficult time and that God will soften
Chad’s heart to hear the Truth that he heard as a child.

Update 6/10/2012:
We just want to thank everyone who prayed for our daughter. She is doing better and
baby is thriving in her belly. Although the hardest part is yet to come, we know God
is with them. Continue your prayers please, as baby Lincoln continues to grow, he is
putting pressure on her spinal nerve which makes her go numb and cause severe pain.
Also your prayers as I try to get to Japan to be by her side when she delivers. God
is good!

Please pray for Mark K.  He has been diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma. Mark’s surgery took place on the 11th of January.  Please pray for Mark’s healing, along with God’s will and direction in his life.

Update: Mark had his Basal Cell Carcinoma surgery on 11 January, 2012.  The operating doctor at Wilford Hall Medical said that the surgery was a success.  Please pray for Mark’s next appointment on Wednesday, 25
January.  Pray for God’s will, direction, and that Mark will be healed. Pray for the operating doctor as he begins his post surgery observation and analysis.  Thank you.

Update #2: Update for Mark K.’s Basal Cell Carcinoma surgery:

On the 26th of January, Mark K. received the following post operation
analysis from his operating doctor, as printed out on the paper work:

No residual Basal Cell Carcinoma ( Negative margins )

Thank y’all for your prayers and keeping Mark K.’s name before God’s
Throne of Grace in this medical procedure.

Update #3 (6/3/2012)

I want to thank those that prayed for me during my affliction with
Basal Cell Carcinoma ( B-C-C ).  On 29 May, I had my final B-C-C
appointment at Lackland AFB for the January 2012 surgery .  The
examining doctor restated his earlier assessment that I had no residual
effects from the B-C-C.  I thank God for His healing hand during this
time of trial.  Thank you.

Micro-twin, Holly, is again in surgery today on her brain. She went in at 0630 and as of 3pm, she is still in there. So far, it’s going well, but she’s only been given a 50/50 chance of recovery from this (hopefully) final surgery. This surgery is to give her brain room to grow. Please pray that her little body can stand up to all this and that Jesus be glorified through it all. Thank you for all your prayers in the last two months. I really appreciate it. ~Lisa Tingle

Update 5/16/2012:
Baby Holly is still in the NICU, but the surgery was a success and she is doing well! She has been laughing, talking and acting like she hadn’t gone through such a traumatic brain surgery! She surprised the doctors surviving the surgery and now is surprising them with how well she is doing and how quickly she is recovering. Thank you SO much for your prayers her family and I greatly appreciate it.

This past week she said, “He doesn’t look good, I’m praying he doesn’t go
into a diabetic coma.” So we’ve been praying all week for him. He isn’t
saved and so pray he comes to Jesus before his last breath on this earth,
someone whom he will listen to will lead him to Christ. Today she called
around five and said “EMS is taking my dad to the hospital, please call
everyone who will pray for him.” In Jesus Name, Amen.

Update 4/14/2012:

He refused to take the EMS trip. He had given himself a insulin show when
his blood sugar was good. It caused an attack to his system. He going to
alright and has called his doctor for an appointment. Please continue to
pray for his salvation.

Pray for SAPD Officer John Esquivel

On Saturday, February 18, 2012, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Traffic Officer Jonathan Esquivel was placing flares in the roadway while working a vehicle accident scene on 410 and Evers Road when he was struck by a vehicle.  Officer Esquivel received head and internal injuries.  As of yesterday, he is in Intensive Care and is receiving no visitors, other than family, at this time.
Please pray for his recovery, peace and comfort for Officer Esquivel’s family and friends and for the person who struck him and his/her family.
