Pray for SAPD Officer John Esquivel

On Saturday, February 18, 2012, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Traffic Officer Jonathan Esquivel was placing flares in the roadway while working a vehicle accident scene on 410 and Evers Road when he was struck by a vehicle. Officer Esquivel received head and internal injuries. As of yesterday, he is in Intensive Care and is receiving no visitors, other than family, at this time.
Please pray for his recovery, peace and comfort for Officer Esquivel’s family and friends and for the person who struck him and his/her family.

My sister has Bone Marrow cancer. If her platelets don’t stay she will have to have her spleen removed and that would prevent the scheduled bone marrow transplant.

Please pray for Rogelio Rogerio who had heart valve replacement surgeryearlier this month. He has been fighting stage 4 kidney cancer for the past four years and God has been showing his mercy and grace. However, now his heart is failing. Please pray for this upcoming surgery and recovery. Please pray for Shelby…she is the daughter of Sheila Haver, who works in the Universal City Public Works Department. Shelby received a mandatory inoculation against meningitis in order to begin her junior year in college. However, she reacted to the shot and has contracted HSP (Henoch-Schonlein Purpura), a terrible and very painful condition that has forced her to miss her junior year of college. Please pray for Shelby’s full recovery; for strength for her mom, Sheila; and that the Lord would use this as an opportunity to show off his love for this family and for them to be drawn closer to him as a result. Please also pray that Shelby’s healing would be a significant event for others in the city to draw them closer to God’s throne.

My name is Debbie Cantu and I attend the Calvary Chapel in Mcallen. I am submitting a prayer request for a family member who is extremely ill. Her name is Diane Zimmerman and she lives in San Antonio. She has complications with her kidney and liver which are failing. Diane is going through surgeries left and right. I pray first and foremost for her salvation and second peace for Diane and the Martinez family in this hard time. Please keep them in prayer!!!

Caleb Jentsch (pronounced “yinch”) is a 21 year old college student from Victoria who suffered a traumatic brain injury a week ago and is in critical condition in a Denver, CO hospital. He and all his family are strong believers. Since surgery to remove a portion of his skull to accommodate the swelling on his brain, he has yet to awaken from a coma, he has developed pneumonia in both lungs, has fluid on his brainstem, and bruising on the brain stem (which accounts for his continuing coma). Please join the scores of the faithful who are praying for his full recovery. God is doing a mighty work through Caleb’s family among the hospital staff and other patients’ visitors in the hospital. May His glorious name be praised EVERMORE!

Please pray for Mark K. He has been diagnosed with Basal Cell Carcinoma. Mark’s surgery took place on the 11th of January. Please pray for Mark’s healing, along with God’s will and direction in his life.

Update: Mark had his Basal Cell Carcinoma surgery on 11 January, 2012. The operating doctor at Wilford Hall Medical said that the surgery was a success. Please pray for Mark’s next appointment on Wednesday, 25
January. Pray for God’s will, direction, and that Mark will be healed. Pray for the operating doctor as he begins his post surgery observation and analysis. Thank you.

Update #2: Update for Mark K.’s Basal Cell Carcinoma surgery:

On the 26th of January, Mark K. received the following post operation
analysis from his operating doctor, as printed out on the paper work:

No residual Basal Cell Carcinoma ( Negative margins )

Please pray for healing for my Aunt Babe, 92 years old with pnemonia, and her daughter Nancy, my cousin, who is too sick with the flu and bad cold to go be with her in the hospital. I don’t know if they are truly saved. And also my whole family on my dad’s side I don’t know if they are true Christians. Please pray for all of them to see Jesus through this and surrender to the King. And Aunt Babe to have a saving encounter with our Living Lord.
